Privacy Policy

Overview

Clearbrain is a sleep tracking app that runs entirely on your device. We do not operate servers, create accounts, or collect any data from you.

Data We Access

Clearbrain reads health data from Apple Health — including sleep analysis, heart rate, HRV, blood oxygen, wrist temperature, respiratory rate, activity, and other signals — to generate personalized sleep insights. This data never leaves your device.

With your permission, Clearbrain also writes data back to Apple Health when you manually log entries (steps, calories, mindful sessions, or exercise).

Data Storage

All data is stored locally on your device using Apple's built-in frameworks. We have no access to it. If you delete the app or use the "Delete All My Data" option in Settings, your data is permanently erased from your device.

Third-Party Services

Clearbrain uses Apple's App Store and StoreKit only to process the optional one-time Pro upgrade. No health data is involved in that transaction.

Your Rights

You can revoke Health access at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → Clearbrain. You can delete all app data in Clearbrain → Settings → Delete All My Data.

Children

This app is not directed at children under 13. HealthKit parental consent requirements apply for minors.
